We got to the cross country in good time and parked up, only to find that the course was like a mud bath even getting to the start was like a mud bath. We got to the start and set off, around a field, out on to the course where we did 3 long laps and a smaller lap. I was at the back and couldn’t see any other runners so it made it very hard run in the race on your own (that the moan over for now). Now back to the course it was all up and down hill through the woods where you just slipped down the hill with the amount of mud under foot and you then had to watch out for this log which I stepped over the first time then just strided over the log in the other 3 laps. I did enjoy the cross country overall and it was very tough on the legs after the 4th lap the course wasn’t a PB even know I took 2 minute off from last years time which was 65.05 which is great for a 10k run. There was some good encouragement from the Marshalls that they were really proud of me for completing the cross country they didn’t leave where they were Marshalling but it wasn't fair that they should start taking the course down when there is a runner still out on the course just because he take over a hour to complete the course.
st lap 18.23
nd lap 16.52
rd lap 16.42
th lap 13.07
