The Birthday Run

The week started off well with Monday night training back in the gym we did a warm up, then we did 3 sets of circuit training, we had to each exercise until the group of three had finished running up and down the gym 6 times. But I didn’t manage to keep going and I stopped on few of the exercises. On Tuesday I didn’t bother going out for a proper run because it was my birthday, but I did run down to the pub in the afternoon. I had too much to drink and had a hangover on the Wednesday morning and I still managed to turn up to run. We are now back in the sports hall where we did a warm up and then Nigel took the session where we did 3 sets with 1 minute on and 1 minute off with 2 minutes in between each set. I only managed 5 half laps with each set, maybe that had something to do with the pub the day before. I can’t have gone down hill when I was doing 6 lap of sports hall last year I should be improving then I went out for the 3 mile run on the Saturday night just around Northallerton and home I kept going all the way around and not stop at all then I was going to do the 5k run at Thirsk on Sunday which had been cancelled due to not enough entries so I did some painting for my mum and missed out on the run
