No club training on Monday, but I went for a run around the town centre, which was very icy, nearly fell over a few times but enjoyed the run. I nearly turned around and went back home before I got to the end of valley road because of the icy conditions. With no rest on Tuesday and another run at Richard's and Angela's from their farm at Sessay when we finally found which way we were going after speaking to Rob. I got there and thought I would go for walk because it looked far too icy then I changed my mind when I saw Ollie, because he would have moaned at me. I did enjoy the run until I lost sight of the front runners and didn’t know my way around the course so I turned around and came back the same way I went. I only fell over the once when we were crossing this road which was very icy it was different to what I normally do and there homemade soup and cake which was lovely. I went to the club on Wednesday for more hard training in the snow. We did a speed session where we ran around the outside of the race course 8 time with a 1 minute rest in between each set, I did each of the sets at even pace and then on the last set I put more effort in with Ernie trying to keep up with me but he couldn’t I enjoyed the session for a change with no running on New Years Eve I went out and had a few drinks I don’t think Dr run will be happy because I was suffering on Friday with a very bad hangover I still managed a run only 2.4 miles around the town centre, I felt a lot better after the run that will teach me not to drink as much as I did should have done more. I still had a bad head ache on Saturday so no running I did get out on Sunday for 6.4 mile in the snow and ice yet again I enjoyed the flat run just around Northallerton which I thought would be the safest route but I couldn’t run in parts because it was too icy and had to walk there is one good thing the white stuff won’t stop me from going out for a run its more fun I never fall over in the snow when I am running it is always when I am walking anywhere which take my running to 14.6 mile and my walking to 10 miles and no biking due to the snow and ice.
