The week started with a run 2.9 miles around Romanby on the icy footpath in my shorts which gave me very red legs lots people thinking I was daft with my shorts on in the winter weather. Wednesday night was a run around the race course in 1ft of snow where we ran out on one side of the race course to the end and back to the corner where we did a speed session. We ran from one corner to the other corner we did this 7 times. Which was very hard I only managed 5 lengths and one was from the top of the field to the corner. We did all this in the dark which was a new experience because I have never ran around in the pitch black. I have always ran in lit areas. Rest on Christmas eve I did get out for a run on Christmas day I ran down to my nana's in Sowerby and back to my mum's to drop a Christmas card off that was forgotten about. It was only 3 miles I then took my mum's dog out on Saturday for a 2 mile walk just to relax because every one was doing my head in and needed to de-stress. I had a rest on Sunday with no long runs now for the third week running I need to get my act together and start doing some long runs with all the food I have eaten over the last 3 days. I need to do a 100 mile run because I have put 2 stone on which take my run to 8.9 mile and my walk to 10 mile no biking due to the snow and the ice

Tuseday - Rest or Cross Train - rest
Wednesday - Morning: 40 mins steady off road Evening : Club - 3 miles
Thursday - 4 mile steady - rest
Friday - Rest or 40 mins steady - 3 miles
Saturday - 10 miles steady - 2 miles walk
Sunday - 4 mile steady - rest
