I have finished the first 5 weeks of my marathon training plan with
100.95 miles covered so far compared to 2011 when I only managed 61.8 miles and
still more training to do and more hard sessions from the club I should be able
to run the London Marathon in 4 hours 30 minutes instead 5 hours what my target
is
Monday Club with Sonja.
We did a warm up with drills then onto an 8 station cardio circuit with
a few more exercise this week such as the one leg squat and still did the
running step and the squat stand up and sit down on the chair followed by 'A
Deck of Cards' workout where we had to do different exercise such as Burpee, dead
buck, press up and sit up but we end up doing the most burpee maybe 100 by the
end of the exercise very tough work out from Sonja the coach
Tuesday 7 x 10 min with 2 minutes rest
I went out on the flat and ran for 10 minutes at a time just a round
Northallerton each time covering just over 1 mile every 10 minute with the 2
minutes walk to recover my Ave pace was 10min/miles I end up doing 7 of these
covering 7.58 miles and I was glad to
finish because I was tired I did a simple training session in week 4 and I
could even manage to get to a miles so I the training programme must be working

because the sports hall was being used so we met at the athletics club and ran
up to the train station as warm up and then it was a 2 miles run down to lidl
