I went to training on Monday night to do the bridge only to find out that no-one else turned up at the athletics club so we didn’t know if was still on. So we ran around the handicap course on Westfield lane with Ken, Alan, Margaret, Helen and I, I did enjoy running the course for a change and not against clock. The knee injury has returned and with the time trial been at White Horse Bank and going up this big hill I opted to do some time keeping and giving the knee a rest on Wednesday after the time keeping we had a barbeque. Rested on Thursday and Friday and did my speed session on Saturday night after been at Age UK. I did 2x4 sets between the lamppost on Valley Road my times are the same as last week with my knee hurting me after the speed session I went out on Sunday for a short run out which was 2.3 miles just around Northallerton with me going down South Parade and timed myself to see if I am getting any faster or slower my time was 2.25 which is 22 seconds slower than at the end of March which takes my running to 2.3 miles and the count down to 827.8miles
