The Dice

I went to training on Monday night as usual we started by throwing the bean bag to each other while we warmed up, with a few strides then we got in to the session. We walked to the red cone jogged to the blue cone and then run fast to the green cone I was with Ian, Pat and Chris and we did 5 sets and every time we came to the tyre we ran to the next cone with the tyre, then walked to the next cone as a rest. Sonja had a big dice that we all took turns to throw the dice and if it said 5 everyone in the group had to go to the cone and back and we did this for 10 minutes. This time all the group had to run to the cone and back 6 times with the faster runners going to the next cone we did 2 sets and then we warmed down and did some relaxing exercises. Rest on Tuesday. Back to the club on Wednesday where we did 8 sets of 400m starting off in lane 1 going up to lane 4 with a 1 minutes rest in-between each 400 m we did 2 sets I was in Nigels group where I timed each 400m and was fastest on the on the second set apart from the 2 which I was doing the same time. It was the return of the last evening league on Thursday with a rest on Friday and Saturday and I did a 5 mile walk on Sunday just to loosen the legs and to do something different than running which takes my running to 6.8 miles and the count down to 779.2 miles

Thursday - 4 mile steady – 4.8m evening league
Friday - 4 mile steady – rest
Saturday - 3 mile steady – rest
Sunday - 8 miles steady – 5 mile walk
