Back on Target for the GNW Training

The week started with me been busy so I didn’t get out for my normal Monday morning run so I just went to the club. We did the warm as usual we then paired up in equal ability teams, we ran down to the cone had rest whiles your partner ran down and we this 7 times and it was Robins idea to go in the fast team. we ran just a bit further than normal, we then did 6 different exercises to finish such as the plank and back lunge we then did a cool down. I went out on Tuesday for a 5 miles around Northallerton because I didn’t get out on Monday for run I also did some walking and cycling in between it rain again. I went to the club, we did 6x3 min with 1 min rest in between which I ended up doing one half lap in the rain, still trying to keep up with people in my group such as Cath, Alan and Christine which is a challenge some times. I also did some cycling and walking as well. Thursday I just had a rest from running and just did a small walk and some cycling. I went out on Friday for my run just around Northallerton town centre which was good after been at the Allotment so my Avg pace was 10.13 min/miles which is an improvement from last Friday’s running. I just did some walking on Saturday half been around Darlington and the other half been around Northallerton I did manage a bike ride as well. I decided to watch the London Marathon this morning and go for a run at tea time which was 8.05 miles with 4 miles around town and the other 4 miles been go up Sandy Bank and out for 1.5 miles and then turned and come back and do a small loop before I finished at my flat which was 8 miles that wasn’t the plan of the run today it was only to do 7 miles. I am on target to do 75 miles before the end of the month only 19.12 miles left to do now and 8 day to compete before the end of the challenge. Which take my running, walking and cycling to 66.79 miles and the miles so far too 877.33 miles
