The rest week

The week started with me going to the club where we did a fun warm up with back flips, high knee and side skips. We then got into the session, we had to sprint up to the cone have 30 seconds rest and we did it twice more and then got a 2 minutes rest we did 3 sets and then did a sprint relay in mixed ability group OMG after all that running my legs were hurting me but my legs were fine the next day. Rest on Tuesday from running just did some walking and cycling. Back to the club on Wednesday for more punishment, we did a warm up and then got into the session, we did 8x3min with 1 min rest in between first 4 runs were at a slow pace and then I did try and keep up with Ken for the 5, 6 3 minutes which was hard but I didn’t lose sight of Ken. I then kept up with Christine for the 7 3 minutes which she just sped up towards the end of the 3 minutes but I kept the same pace and I wouldn’t let Christine pass me back to the finish. We did a cool down and finished two tough sessions in 3 days so it was time for a rest on Thursday with just some walking and cycling. I went for a nice warm run on Friday night I just did 4 miles because I don’t like the hot weather we are having at the moment my pace was 10.09min/miles which was good to say it was warm another rest on Saturday from running but I did a 7 miles walking when we Marched through Northallerton on Saturday to do with the Friarage Hospital. I went out on Sunday I only manage 4 miles in the hot weather and my pace was very slow today with a pace of 10.56min/miles I didn’t finish this week by doing more running than walking but I have managed to do more running this month compared to last month. Which takes my running walking and cycling to 64.83 miles and the miles so far to 1,223 miles
