4X4min
The week started with me going to the club on Monday tried to find a
bit of ground to train on once that had been sorted we did our warm up as usual
with strides and some sprints at 80% which was a struggle for me because I done
a 8 mile training run the day before we got into the session where we had run
at 80% down the straight recover along the short bit I only managed 8 laps
because I was tired and my legs felt heavy. A good old rest on Tuesday didn’t
doing much walking just bit of cycling on the morning because my legs were
still hurting from doing too much run over the last few days. I went to the
club on Wednesday night we have a running track now at the Athletics club it
measured at 0.20 of a mile so we got into the session, we did the warm up as
usual and then 4X4min with 1min rest in between I managed 2 half laps on every
4min and a extra 20 metres on the last 4min I did try and keep up with Ken for the full
session. It was the return of the evening league on Thursday at East Harlesy
and I couldn’t get there so I had a rest on Thursday instead. I went out did a
6.2 miles training run on Friday a good steady pace just around the town centre
in Northallerton all good practice for Sunday race at Rainton. I had a rest on
Saturday from running and walking ready for Sunday race. Which take my running
walking and cycling to 67.74 miles
