The run around the block
The week started with me going to the club where we did the warm up as
usual then we got into the session where I did more of a jog than racing
because I was running on Sunday at the GNR so we had to run the length of the
rugby pitch then got a 1min rest and we had to the for 15min. With a rest on
Tuesday from running and just did some cycling. Back to the club on Wednesday
night where I started to do the warm up and David decided to go for a run
around the block (which was just around Sowerby and back to the school) we ran
at a comfortable 9min/miles pace all the way and still managed to have a chat
at the same time and then we got back to the school where I joined in the
session just did 2 lap around the field we finished and did a warm down and I
got up on Thursday morning and legs were so stiff. So I rested on Thursday and
again on Friday because I didn’t want to overdo it before the GNR rest on
Saturday from rum but did so much cycling I didn’t know how I was going to
complete the GNR on Sunday because all I want to do was rest
