The good week with little running
Started the week by going to the club on Monday night, we did the warm
up as usual, then did a leg session step up sideways step and chair squat we
did 4 sets at 30sec each, then we did abs circuit! Again 30 secs each, but only
2 sets- sit-ups, plank, 'dead bug', side plank, Roman twists and finally bridge
with raised legs. We stretched out well afterwards. I honestly can say my legs don’t normally hurt after
running but Sonja killed me, I couldn’t bend for two days afterwards. I didn’t
have a rest on Tuesday because I went out and did a 4 miles just around
Northallerton in very slow time. I went to the club on Wednesday night it was
the AGM after running. So back to the running we did a warm up as usual then we
did 2 sets of circuits with the Plank, sit up press up and star jumper. Fran on
one side and Lorraine on the other side both moaning at me as usual in a nice
way along with a few others. We then did 3, 4, 5, and 6 min of running with 1
min rest in between each set I never counted how many lengths I do because I do
the time keeping and its too much to think about it but I do the same amount
lengths every week. We finished with some stretch down and then it was to the
AGM meeting that went on for ages. I had a rest on Thursday and was working on
Friday and then busy Friday night set my new toy up which is the New Kindle
Fire HD and was busy on Saturday so I only managed a 4 miles run on Sunday
night just around Northallerton because this cold keeps going and coming back
but hopefully next week I will be back on track
