The new challenge in 2013

The week started with finishing the challenge from 2012 which I did 5.37 miles which was around Target Wood and back on to Scholla Lane and onto Hailstone Moor and back on to Sandy Bank and back down the field and home I only fell over once on the way to Target Wood I wanted somewhere different and interesting to run instead of the footpaths around Northallerton. No rest on Tuesday with it been New Year I still went for a run around Northallerton on the footpaths and over the muddy field and home which again was on a very challenging course rest on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday because I was at work so I went out on Saturday afternoon for 10km run which was very interesting because it started getting dark but still managed to do the off road bit before it got too dark. I then went out on Sunday afternoon for a long run as I am doing the London marathon in April so need to build my mileage up I started by going up the field and through the town around Castle Hill into Romanby down by the football club and long Boroughbridge Road and back home for a drink and then back out to do 3 half miles down Mowbray Road and back home but I struggled on tonight run must be so unfit or not used to the mud and the little hill but I still managed to do 9 miles. Now for this years challenge I am aiming for 1000 miles of running and 2013 miles of cycling Fran, Hester and me are still doing the challenge this year so you can follow us on Facebook or Fetcheveryone.com. I have also joined the group on Facebook called “we love a challenge” this months challenge is the Burpee days challenge mind and Fran challenge for the month is to do 3 miles and 6 miles run a PB at the time trial and to cover 80 miles over the month and did I say there was a twist no but there is one and Fran will find very soon
