The hard Monday night training session week 12 of the diary plan




I have spoken to the my coach who still thinks I can do the London marathon so the long running is back on the cards

Monday Harriers

I went down to harriers where John took the first part of the session and got us all warmed up with some different exercises to what Sonja normal does. We then got into teams of 4 and did some where we did Fran’s idea which was to do each of the exercises for 30 sec but to do it continuation for 4 min and have a rest  between each set which was very hard my legs were stiff afterwards. I did put a complaint into Fran for making the session very hard, I got told to shut up moaning and do my exercises

Tuesday

I had an unplanned rest because I was tired from last nights hard training session because of Fran and still full of cold so no running tonight

Wednesday Harriers

I went to the club where Jack took the warm up with the usual exercises, Rob did his little talk and we got into the session where we did a 14 station circuits work out which included doing star jumps stand one leg with our eye shut which I very hard to do and many more exercises as well. I then went outside in the group and we did 4x4min with 2 min rest, I ran on the inside to keep the group then it was off to the committee meeting about the T10

Thursday Rest

I always have a rest on Thursday so why change habits of life time

Friday Hill Training

I went out on Friday and was only planning 3 miles but I ended up running up to the top of Schola and back down which was fun doing all them hills but there was a good point there was also a lot of downhill as well which I covered 3.8 miles which wasn’t too bad and felt ok

Saturday

I had another rest day sorting out stuff for the T10 so the running was cancelled yet again I am having too many at the minutes

Sunday

I was up early with been our Thirsk 10 miles race and I was head marshal so we had to be at Thirsk for 8.30am and I we didn’t get finished until 2pm so I had some dinner and went for a 6 mile run  as I have been lazy and had too many rest days this week just on the footpath around Northallerton. I then got ready and wet for a curry at the Raj at Thirsk which was very nice to end the day
