The week started with me having a rest from running as Ken was away and
I couldn’t get to the running club. The plan did say two training sessions at
harriers and 10x2min with 1 min rest but as I was feeling very tired and had no
work I went to the allotment and did some cross training and put my potatoes in
and did a bit digging
So the week leading up to the marathon I wasn’t confident that I was
going to be able to complete the marathon or even get around the second half
because I hadn’t done many long runs, losing nearly 5 weeks and only training
up 12 miles I just didn’t know how well I was going to do. All I kept on
getting from people “you can do it.”
