The week started with me going to the club on Monday night where we did
a warm up with a lot of press ups, jumping jacks and strides we then did a
rolling relay for about 20 min in groups of 3 I teamed up with Paul and Matt
where he had the furthest to run. I struggled with the jumping jacks (star
jump) my coordination was all over the place. I was meant to do 3 min in 30 min
but I went out at 8.30pm and was tired so I decided to do a 20 min jog instead
and that fell in place for Wednesdays race so there was no club on Wednesday
due to the evening league which went well. The marathon training plan said rest
so thats what I did. After doing a 10 hrs shift on Friday I decided to do
another 20 min instead of 4 x 10 min with 5 min walk. Rest on Saturday due to feeling
rough from my bottle of beer on Friday night. Sunday was meant to be a 14 miles
run. I only managed 4 miles in this hot weather so I failed this week with my
marathon training better luck next week.
