We will start with last weeks training. I started with a cold on Sunday
and Monday so I still went to the club on Monday night where we did a warm up
and some core exercises and then back inside for some stretches on our calves
which I did enjoy the session and on Tuesday my legs were not stiff for a
change so the extra exercise must have worked. Wednesday came and we were
outside on the field for the full hour we did a warm up and did 4x4 min with 2
min rest. I had a good session and ran really good and then the cold took over
me and I didn’t do anymore running all week which was very disappointing
because I going to do my 4hrs training session. I did think that I had ran 18
miles a few weeks ago so I knew I could do the York marathon
Why
can’t I stick to my marathon training plan
So this week was club on Monday where did much of the same as last week
where we did the warm up outside and back into the gym where we did some
superset and some basic of using a form rolling rest on Tuesday no club on
Wednesday as Ken was away so I took myself out for a 30 min jog just around northallerton
rest on Thursday I went to the allotment on Friday and did some digging and
ended up with a bad back so rest Saturday. I went to do my long run today which
after 5 miles just gave up don’t know why because I was down for a 20 miles run
today.
So why did I give up
My coach is not going to be happy and I was doing really well until 2
weeks ago I think it was the 18 miles run plus the cold and they have change my
shift at work again to early morning
