I was still aching on Monday night but still went to the
first training session since Christmas to be greeted by Sune Sonja's daughter who took
the session. We did a warm up as usual. Then it was on to the circuits that she
had planned. We had two new exercises which was hard to try and remember the
route when we got to the circuits we did 30 min of exercise and then we did a
cool down my legs still aching. So rest on Tuesday still aching but had to go
to work no pain no gain. Wednesday was back to the club to see what Greg had
planned for us so he split up the sport hall so legs exercise at one end abs in
the middle and up arm at the top we did this for 20 min and Greg hasn’t stopped
moaning at me nothing changes there, then I went out with the outside group and
we did 4X3min around the school field in the dark and cold but I was still
enjoyed it better than running in the sports hall. My official Rest day is
Thursday like it was last year. Friday I decided it was time to get my lazy
butt out for a run so I did a 20 min jog just to wind down after work I know
its not much but every little helps to get my total of 1000 miles. These rest
days keep popping up I had another rest on Saturday, where as my motivation
gone need it back. I got a plan for this year so I decided to put it to work I
did hour jog around Northallerton and covered 5 miles which I was happy with. I
am only doing the one marathon this year at the moment but anything could
change with me. I find following a marathon training plan very boring so what I
have decided to do is look at the York marathon training plan that I have still
got and try getting some long runs in before my marathon training start that is
also in between doing a few more 10km ish run this year. #LETJOG14 862.19
